They isolate residents from people if the family complains. Neglect caused my family member bed sores and ulcerated areas on the skin. They let them rot in bed or a wheel chair and get no excersize. They seem to hire people who donrt speak English well and that can cause communication problems. As a current resident, I find Peterson Park to be one of the best nursing homes. Although there can be some communication issues , I find they all go out of their way to make things comfortable and homey.

Once the ulcers formed, the nursing home allegedly did not properly supervise his care to treat the ulcers. The staff needs to notify a physician once a resident develops pressure ulcers and then follow the doctor’s orders and the family claimed that the staff did not do so.
